First Post

This is my first post to the new blog. I've never done this before and am having beginners jitters. I have been working with wool as an art form for two years and have created many pieces. I have a website on etsy (http://www.tinafeltmaker.etsy.com/) and I also sell at a physical location here in Rockford, Illinois. Most of the work I've done has been sold. I have few pieces to show case for myself.

My new venture this year is to teach a class in felting here in Rockford. I am arranging a class for end of February. This started with an inquiry about teaching and has now grown. Once we decided on the class project (a journal cover or a cover for a similar item) then my thoughts went to getting the wool, all the tools of felting and making an outline of the class and then going through it for myself to work out the bugs.

I've been working on vessels for a couple of weeks now. I want to create some true art pieces that will have an impact. I am working on needle felting a face to put into the vessel. Here is a picture of the face.
